This month an article I authored about Google Plus appears in CASE Currents. Because of press timelines, this article was written three months ago, and updated quickly when Google Plus finally released pages for businesses.
Since submitting the final version for publication, there have been a few new developments:
- Pages can now have multiple administrators
- Google has released an official guide to Google Plus for universities
- Many other folks have written about Google Plus for universities, including Social Media Today, and Mashable,
- Of course, others wrote about Google Plus for universities much earlier, including Patrick Powers, Jeremy Littau, Joe Sabado, and me.
Thanks to Mark Greenfield, Patrick Powers, Rey Junco, Shannon Ritter and Theresa Walker for their help with this article. If you’d like to view the entire January issue of CASE Currents, the digital edition is available here (CASE Premiere login required).
How is your university currently using Google+?
